Fujairah, Deep into Dibba

going to fujairah was more than just a trip, it felt like a deep breath after living in the constant rush of city life, coming from a place full of crowds, towering buildings, and nonstop noise, returning to nature and being surrounded by mountains felt like therapy.

It was a way to reconnect, breathe clean air, and simply slow down, this trip had a purpose, to rest and to visit my friend who lives in dibba, fujairah, It was actually my second time visiting, but this time felt different, I brought my camera with me, ready to capture the quiet beauty that i had missed the first time, i spent most of the time walking, sometimes alone, sometimes with my friend, exploring places that felt untouched and peaceful, every corner had something to admire, it wasn’t just about relaxing, it was about being present and truly enjoying the details of the place.

Instead of only visiting tourist spots, i was more interested in the hidden corners, the local neighborhoods, and how people live there.

I found myself observing everything, from the streets to the architecture of the houses, and even the change in the weather, fujairah is climate felt so different from the other emirates, it is located so close to oman, and you can feel the influence, both in nature and in culture.

It reminded me of older, simpler times, the kind of life that’s slower, calmer, and filled with rhythm, it brought back memories and gave me a sense of nostalgia, this trip reminded me that the united arab emirates is full of contrasts, you can find so many different lifestyles and environments, all within one country.

fujairah gave me that feeling a reminder that there is so much beauty beyond the city skylines, going forward, i am planning to visit more often and share my experiences with others, i will be posting the photos, the stories, and the feelings that came with the trip, for me, this journey was a blessing, and something I will keep returning to, again and again.
